INSTITUTIONAL BACKGROUND

Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management (IBUAM) is a specialized institution dedicated to excellence in aviation education, research, and innovation. Founded by Engineer Isaac Balami, a distinguished aviation expert and visionary leader, IBUAM draws inspiration from his remarkable career and contributions to the aviation industry in Nigeria and beyond.  

Engineer Isaac Balami, the driving force behind IBUAM, served as the President of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE) for eight years, where he championed the development of aviation professionals and advocated for industry best practices. With over two decades of experience in the aviation sector, including his tenure at Aero Contractors, one of Nigeria’s leading airlines, Engineer Balami has been instrumental in shaping the industry’s growth and standards.  

As the founder of 7 Star Global Airlines and 7 Star Global Hangar, one of the largest aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility in West and Central Africa, Engineer Balami has demonstrated his commitment to advancing aviation infrastructure and expertise. This world-class facility serves as evidence to his vision of positioning Nigeria as a hub for aviation excellence in Africa. 

IBUAM is dedicated to providing high-quality education in aeronautics, engineering, and management. The university integrates practical internships and industry-based learning as core components of its curriculum. Through strategic faculty recruitment from global aviation and management sectors, IBUAM ensures that students gain hands-on experience and real-world expertise.

IBUAM’s programs offer both academic degrees and internationally recognized certifications, including: Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Pilot Licenses, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Licenses and Life aircraft maintenance training hours.
